Everything you need to know about joining Seya.

How much does it cost to join?: Joining Seya is free to apply. There's no monthly subscription. We charge a one-time $79 CAD activation fee — collected automatically out of your first completed booking — plus a 12% commission on each completed booking. Founding-cohort providers (those who join through a launch invitation) get the activation fee waived.
When and how is the activation fee charged?: The $79 CAD activation fee is taken automatically from the platform's commission on your first completed booking — you don't enter a card up front and you only ever owe it once you've earned revenue. Founding-cohort invitees skip the fee entirely.
When does the commission apply?: The 12% commission is deducted from each completed booking automatically when funds are paid out via Stripe Connect. Cancelled or no-show bookings are not charged.
Do I need a credit card to apply?: No. You apply for free. After approval you'll connect Stripe so you can receive payouts and the platform can take its commission (and the one-time activation fee on your first booking) per booking.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes. There's no contract. You can pause or remove your business profile at any time from your dashboard.
Are there paid plans coming?: Optional growth tools — featured placement, premium visibility, advanced reports, and multi-staff tools — are on the roadmap. The core plan will always stay free with the same flat 12% commission.
